Here's how it came to be.

Plum (n): any of various trees and shrubs (genus Prunus) of the rose family

 The word also has another meaning. 

 Plum (adj.): something superior or very desirable

 See, it has always been our goal to offer superior quality, highly desirable products. So when we heard the name Freshly Plum, everything just fell into place. We did some more reading and found that plums represent new beginnings and the art of thriving in adversity. Fruitful, indeed. We also learned that plums symbolize perseverance and optimism. Two things we are fond of around here. After all, what is a new beginning worth without hope?  

We believe that each person is unique beautiful and desirable just the way they are.

So, that is the story of how Freshly Plum got its unique and lovable name.
